Thank you for expressing interest in the Int. School of Creative Science. ISCS welcomes students from all nationalities who are able to access the curriculum and support the positive behaviour policy and ethos of the school.

Admission Calendar
• Admissions Application form for Foundation stage and Grades 1-13 will be available at the relevant reception desk from mid-January for the academic year 2010-2011.
• Booking seats for returning students for the following year will start in January of every year.
• The academic year begins in September and ends in June.
• Each academic year consists of 2 terms with a mid year break.

Admission procedures for new admissions.
1. Complete the application form at the relevant phase reception.
2. Upon receipt of the application form your son/daughter will be invited for an entrance exam and interview. KG 1 and KG 2 children are invited to school with their parents for and informal interview.
3. If your application is successful and your child is offered a place you will be notified by phone or e-mail and invited to come in and complete all Admission formalities.
The following documentation will be required to secure a place for your child and must be received within one week of an offer of placement.
Admission Documents
To facilitate the Admission of your child with the Ministry of Education we require that you produce the following documents at the time of Admission to accompany the completed Application Form.
a) 2 student’s photos.
b) 2 copies of the child's birth certificate.
c) 1 copy of the vaccination certificate.
d) 2 copies of the child's passport with current visa.
e) 1 copy of the father's passport with current visa.
f) 1 copy of the mother's passport with current visa.
g) Copy of Family Register (for UAE applicants only)
h) Original Transfer Certificate issued by previous school.
i) A behaviour report from child’s previous school (applicable from Grade 4 onwards).
j) The most recent original school report from the previous school. The report should show the grade, date, academic year and results. In addition, UK SAT results should be provided if the child has attended a British Curriculum school.
k) A non-refundable Admission Fee of Dhs 500 is required to be paid at the time of registration.
If Residence Visas are still being processed, the passports must show the immigration Entry Stamp AND a company letter should be submitted confirming that visa applications are being processed. This can only be accepted on a temporary basis and photocopies of Residence Visas MUST be forwarded to the School as soon as visas are issued. These should be sent to the Admission Department
If the Transfer certificate is issued in:
A. The UAE:
It should carry the stamp of the school as well as the Educational Zone of the Emirate certificate is issued by . We will keep the original Transfer Certificate.
B. GCC countries:
(i) For GCC Nationals, the Transfer Certificate should carry the stamp of the school and be stamped by the Ministry of Education. We will keep the original school report and the transfer certificate.
(ii) For expatriates in GCC countries, the Transfer Certificate should carry the stamp of the school and the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassy of the UAE in that country. We will keep the original Transfer Certificate.
C. The USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or all Western Europe country.
The Transfer Certificate should carry the stamp of the school, translated to English or Arabic where necessary. We will keep the original Transfer Certificate.
D. For any other country:
The Transfer Certificate should be stamped by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the UAE in that country. We will keep the original transfer certificate.
IN ALL CASES, the school certificates and other documentation should be in either Arabic or English. If another language is used, it must be legally translated and authenticated as with other documentation.
Please Note: It is the responsibility of the parent to provide the documents listed above, including the copies of the Resident Visa. By completing and signing the Registration Form, the parent accepts this responsibility. The school cannot be held responsible if the Ministry refuses to register a child because of a lack of documentation.
